2007

First official request to create mobile strategy for Sanoma Media Group.

2009

Foundation of Sanoma Mobile Development Center, a technological hub located in Budapest. Sanoma Finland and Netherlands agreed to launch the competence center to develop mobile apps, research mobile related technologies.

2010

Growing number of mobile application development projects including iOS, Android, Windows Phone, Blackberry and others.

2013

Start of platformization by launching Sanoma Push Notification System, developing a scalable back-end system and related mobile SDKs. MDC becomes an end-to-end provider by bringing back-end competences in-house.

2014

Sanoma MDC Kft. continues as a Hungarian subsidiary of Sanoma after divestment of other Hungarian Sanoma units. First IoT developments mark the willingness to work outside the media industry as well.

2016

Cooperation starts with General Electric Lighting on developing smart lighting commissioning and controlling applications.

2017

Additional development projects in smart lighting, while partnerships are launched in e-health as well (General Electric Health, Zorgdomein).

2018

Sanoma MDC Kft. continues its operation as an independent company under the name of Mondriaan DC Kft.

2018-2019

First fintech solutions built on existing MDC technologies, rewarded by commercial banks (MKB, K&H).
