Parents struggle to assess the severity of their child’s illnesses or injuries, causing uncertainty and stress. The lack of reliable and readily available medical information makes it challenging for them to make informed decisions about seeking appropriate care.

Answer

Semmelweis University and Mondriaan partnered up to create a trusted source of medical information that parents can rely on, in the most stressful situation.

Solution

To create a comprehensive solution, we collaborated with pediatric professionals, digitizing vast amounts of academic knowledge and capturing expert insights. Semmelweis HELP organizes and structures this information, providing an accessible platform for parents to navigate their child’s health concerns and asses their symptoms. Mondriaan was an end-to-end digital partner for this journey from the product idea to the go live and beyond.

UX/UI refinement and delivery for desktop solution

GE Healthcare
Problem

International Olympic Committee approached GE Healthcare to provide an easy solution to manage the medical data of the athletes in the 2018 South Korea Winter Olympic games. Different medical practitioners ( ie. local EMT, Olympic Village general doctors, team doctors) need different patient (athlete) data, however the existing desktop solutions requires additional assistance.

Answer

MONDRIAAN performed a complex workflow audit, simplified and redesigned the UX, prototype new interactions. The hypotheses were validated involving medical professionals from different countries. Based on the findings a new user experience was delivered for desktop and tablet as well.

Solution

The new Athlete Management Solution (AMS) enabled practitioners to access and register patient records easily in multiple languauges without the need of any technical operators.

Result

Due to the success of the debut the solution is planned to be used in upcoming Olympics as well.

Doctor to doctor communication platform

ZorgDomein
Problem

Medical practitioners limited time makes it difficult to consult over complex patient cases. It used to be an offline or e-mail based process at best. The speed of consulting needed to be increased to fit the tight schedule.

Answer

ZorgDomein ‘s platform makes patient data available (in the Netherlands) among doctors, hospitals and insurers.

Solution

Developing iOS and Android applications for doctors that enable them to contact subject matter experts (SME) and share encrypted patient data. SME’s consult/provide professional feedback under 60 seconds.

Result

Doctors managed to increase their time for patients and decrease email times. Private insurers decreased the number if unnecessary procedures resulting in cost savings.

With the introduction of iOS 14 widgets, there was an opportunity to create a new user experience by providing users with essential COVID-19 data at their fingertips.

In just a matter of weeks, we leveraged iOS 14 widgets to create an application that provided reliable global and country-specific COVID-19 statistics. The app featured informative graphics and data, while the widgets allowed users to view key statistics without opening the app.

Solution

Our team swiftly designed and developed the application, capitalizing on the new iOS 14 widgets functionality. By sourcing data from trusted sources, we ensured the accuracy and reliability of the information provided.
