In 2012, existing solutions did not support Sanoma Group’s custom roadmap and would have resulted in a non-economical amount of investment to serve all its affiliate countries.

Answer

Build a scalable push notification system that meets the expectations of diverse media and e-commerce brands to send high-speed, personalized messages on mobile and web platforms. MONDRIAAN continuously develops and maintains a stable back-end system and easy-to-implement, mobile (iOS, Android) and web (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari) SDKs, which enhance customer interactions of our partners. In case of existing database and CMS, the plug-and-play solution enables automated notification sending with precise segmentation.

Results

The solution provides push notifications for many industries since 2013. Due to continuous development and new technologies, the service constantly expands with new features and responds to the rapidly changing customer needs. The solution reaches +6 million active devices and sends +400 million notifications monthly.

Problem

Reach of traditional printed coupons is limited and aging brands seek innovation. By using print coupons, there is no real insight regarding buyer behaviour and the redeem process is uncomfortable in high-traffic shops.

Answer

Digital coupon offering was developed for Glamour “coupon day”, which is the most popular shopping event in Hungary. The aim was to create the simplest, easy-to-understand digital couponing experience for the users.

Results

The digital mobile couponing application, besides performing all the necessary features, collects detailed data on user-base and its behaviour. Additional revenue streams opened up by utilizing the functionalities of the app. It reached  #1 overall store ranking and way above standard in-app purchase rate over the campaigns.

Solution

A gamified brand engagement tool was designed for inviting youngsters to play on a huge, branded screen. Players use their own smartphones for controlling the game and challenging each other to reach the highest score.

Results

200+ game sessions played a day, resulted an average 5.5+ hours of gaming. Eventually 77.000+ game sessions were played.

The project has evolved into a gaming platform to run interactive campaigns with.

Aldipress, a magazine distribution company, realized that checking the list of back-copies demands significant effort from their kiosk retailers. Besides, not returning the back-copies, results in loss for the company.

Answer

In order to lower the time and effort to check the back-copies, simple mobile apps were developed with barcode scanners. Kiosk employees scan each magazine to see if they are on sale or shall be returned.

Solution

The solution can track the magazine inventory, sends warnings in case of late delivery and utilizes easy communication via push notifications.

Results

As a result, time required for checking all magazines and the number of unsent back-copies decreased.
